NBA Owerri Branch: Advocating for Justice, Rights, and Good Governance

HISTORY:


The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Owerri Branch is one of the over 128 active branches across the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.

Chief Sir Raymond Amanze Njoku became the first Chairman of the Branch in 1970 and served in that capacity till 1976.

Chief Chris Ihentuge is the 23rd Chairman of the Branch.

The Branch is reputed for being vocal, viral and steadfast. It boast of several Senior Advocates of Nigeria and many astute legal practitioners.

The Secretariat is located at the Bar Centre, Old High Court Premises, Orlu Road, Owerri.
